Trees and Ice make a terrible combination

This is my home after the ice storm in January. Needless to say it took us almost a month to clean up the backyard by burning the limbs. I say limbs lightly, more like baby trees.
The contractors are still working on the house. We had some major damage.


This guy came through the roof and took out 6 trusses with it. Try waking up to that at 4 in the morning.

The tree limb that almost hit my husband when he was outside with the puppy. Both managed to avoid getting hit by this.
